You will be responsible for ensuring that outdoor areas are safe, attractive, and well-kept by operating equipment, applying horticultural knowledge, and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas healthy and visually appealing Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems efficiently and safely Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support proper horticulture practices and pest management strategies Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct snow plowing and removal during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors and staff Follow all safety protocols diligently while handling equipment and chemicals to prevent accidents or injuries Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping tasks preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and excavators Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and pesticide management Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as mowing, tree care, gardening, hardscape installation, and snow plowing Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence at all times Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Join us in creating vibrant outdoor environments that inspire!
