Essential Elements:

Print The Dinuba Unified School District groundkeeper is under the direction of the Maintenance and Operations Director, the Groundskeeper will perform a wide variety of specialized and responsible tasks relating to the District's grounds and maintenance operation. The groundkeeper will be committed to cultivating excellence throughout the maintenance and operations department.

Requirements / Qualifications

SUBSTITUTE GROUNDSKEEPER TIMES WILL VARY QUALIFICATIONS

1.

Any combination equivalent to:

graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed. 2. Perform a variety of grounds maintenance and gardening duties in the beautification of assigned grounds and landscaped areas. 3. Mow, edge, water, weed, fertilize, rake and cultivate lawns, flower beds, athletic fields and other landscaped areas. Sweep and maintain athletic fields. 4. Operate hand and power tools and other equipment used in grounds maintenance. 5. Learn to troubleshoot, maintain and repair/replace sprinklers, valves and Controllers. 6. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. 7. Maintain routine records. 8. Observe health and safety regulations. 9. Work cooperatively with others. 10. Valid first aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency. 11. Valid Forklift Operator's certification. 12. Valid California Class C driver's license.

SALARY:

$24.07 PER
