Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving skills and organizational skills. They must also be able to follow directions, provide clear communication, ask questions, and work well in a team. You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. You may be responsible for driving the company trailer and work truck to and from jobsites as needed You must be able to demonstrate legal capacity to work in the US. You must be able to adhere to company policies, have strong attendance, and maintain a professional appearance Must provide 3+ references, including recent supervisors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Installation and repair of irrigation systems. Plant shrubs, trees, herbs and grasses and landscapes as part of our team Construction of planter boxes, walkways, pergolas, seating areas, water features and other garden features. Move dirt, rocks, equipment, tools, and other materials Dig trenches for planting or irrigation systems as needed. The essential duties listed above are not a comprehensive list of the responsibilities required for this position. Other responsibilities may also be assigned, as needed. Trimming and pruning of ornamental landscape plants and fruit trees Cross-training and working with our maintenance team as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

An ideal candidate is someone who speaks English and Spanish, but it is not necessary (we are bilingual) 2+ years of landscaping or construction experience. Experience driving and maneuvering a trailer Carpentry experience Irrigation experience Experience working with plants. Strong Communication skills

Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift 75 pounds and handle the physical ability of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, digging, and climbing. We work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat. We work all over San Diego County Workplace is non-smoking and drug and alcohol-free.

Compensation:

$22-26/hour, depending on experience, with room to grow within the company
