Organizing the day, holding the standard across other people's work, and keeping the property's maintenance records current.

S C H E D U L E

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Occasional evening or weekend work around seasonal needs and events

Reports to the Landscape Supervisor and directs the daily work of the gardening staff

Planting, pruning, turf care, beds, soil amendment, irrigation repair, and the estate's organic program

Daily, weekly and seasonal checklists, materials tracking, and clear reporting to a supervisor

W H A T W E A R E L O O K I N G F O R

• Eight years or more in professional gardening or estate grounds work, including two to three leading a crew.
• Hands-on across planting, pruning, turf care, fertilization and soil amendment.
• Working knowledge of landscape irrigation and the ability to repair it.
• Comfortable running a day from checklists under a Landscape Supervisor, and holding a standard across other people's work.
• Formal horticultural qualifications are welcome but not required.

L O C A T I O N

Santa Clara County. Candidates need to be within daily commuting distance and able to hold a 6:30 AM start reliably. Valid driver's license required, and a background check before any offer.

Pay:

$125,000.00 per year
