Grounds Maintenance Technician Employment Type:

On-Site Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Technician to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our properties. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is experienced with landscaping and maintenance equipment, and takes pride in keeping our facilities clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of landscaping, maintenance, and repair tasks while ensuring each property remains safe and visually appealing. Responsibilities Perform routine grounds maintenance to maintain clean, attractive, and safe properties. Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, grinders, saws, drills, and other power tools. Pressure wash buildings, sidewalks, driveways, gates, and other common areas as needed. Perform light property maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. Complete painting projects, including surface preparation, taping, painting, and touch-ups. Maintain landscaping through mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, pruning, and irrigation system monitoring. Remove debris, litter, and other hazards from the property to maintain a clean environment. Identify maintenance issues and report repairs that require additional attention. Maintain daily work logs and communicate project updates to management. Assist with special projects and support overall property maintenance as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred. Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools safely. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance. Irrigation system and landscaping experience is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Good organizational and time management skills. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required. Schedule Full-time position 8-hour shifts Weekday schedule with occasional weekend work as needed Travel between properties may be required
