DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains all trash receptacles in outdoor public areas, ensuring the area is clean and free of litter. Cleans outside public areas, sidewalks, and parking areas; picks up leaves and litter. Trims and prunes tree branches. Operates and maintains power lawn mower, sweepers, chainsaws, trimmers, scrubbers, power washers etc. Ensuring the equipment is clean and in proper working condition. Ensures all plant beds are free of weeds, dead flowers, etc. Operates snow removal equipment, if necessary. Maintains water features. Applies fertilizers and chemicals as instructed. Maintains and repair irrigation systems. May assist the Wastewater Treatment Operators with repairs and maintenance. Maintains spray fields and associated equipment. Assist other departments when needed. Adheres to Company, Departmental and safety policies and procedures and OSHA regulations. Maintains superior communication via email and pass downs to entire department. Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED preferred. Grounds maintenance experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
