POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has opportunities for Gardeners inRidgecrest, CA. The Gardeneris responsible forproviding general gardening care andgroundsmaintenance involving trees, lawns, turf, shrubs, hedges, ground cover,flowersand athletic fields.

Work will include both routine work and special assignments to support a government contract. Primary duties will consist of mowing, trimming, edging, fertilization, pruning, debris and weed removal, tree staking, bermmaintenanceand limbremoval. Willmaintainimproved and semi-improvedgrounds. Build andmaintainirrigation systems to include valves, vacuum breakers, backflow preventers, pressure regulators, irrigation connections, sprinkler heads, bubblers, risers, heads, underground piping, controls, irrigation timeclocksand other water emittingdevices. Operating motorized equipment such as tractors, weed eaters, chain saws, etc. asrequired. May berequiredto drive to outlyingareas. Other duties as assigned by immediateSupervisor.
Payrate:
$24.08 Hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be able to drive manual shift equipment up to a two-tontruck. Must be proficient in the use of hand tools, including shovels, rakes, lawn rollers, pruning saws and sheers, hand mowers, hula hoes, etc. Ability tocomply withall safety requirements andwear personal protective equipment at alltimes. Alutiiq-Mele, LLCmaintains a professional work environment at all times.

Harassment of any type will not betolerated. Ability tocomply withall instruction anddirection. Ability work independently as well as part of a team. Applicant must have the ability to successfully pass a background investigation for both the company as well as thebase. Must have a valid state's driver'slicense. Alutiiq, LLC maintains a drug/alcohol free workplace.

Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drugscreening. Must have the ability to perform physical labor to include lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 lbs.
