San Diego, CA Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Landscape maintenance Driver's License Driving Full Job Description The Groundskeeper reports to the Community Manager and the Resident Sevices Manager. This individual is responsible for the landscaping of the property as well as to assist management efforts to keep the property in a clean and orderly condition that will meet company standards and attract residents.

Assist management in maintaining the Landscaping of one or more properties. Promote positive, proactive resident relations by projecting a courteous, helpful attitude and lend an occasional helping hand toward residents while keeping management's interests in mind. Contribute to the team effort by being aware of, and relaying information regarding the apartment community's general appearance and conditions. Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance. Project a professional image by meeting uniform standards. Must possess a valid California Driver's License and current automobile insurance in order to drive from property to property during business hours. Must attend Company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which, from time to time, may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home. Other duties that may be needed or required by the Community Manager, Resident Sevices Manager or other supervisors.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to repair or replace irrigation valves, broken pipes, sprinklers, etc. Knowledge on how to program and adjust watering time in the Irrigation timer system. Work under direct supervison or minimal supervision. Ability to work with and understand persons of all ethnic and family backgrounds. Able to comprehend and follow instructions. Perform simple and repetitive tasks. Maintain work pace appropriate to given workload. Relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions. Be a team player.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2-3 years of residential landscaping experience. High school education or equivalent is needed or a combination of 3+ years relevant work experience.
