Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulching, and hardscape setup to enhance outdoor environments. Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds tidy and healthy. Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including power tools, mowers, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify plants, trees, and shrubs for proper care; manage pest control using pesticide management protocols when necessary. Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper watering schedules for diverse plantings. Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months or tree care including trimming and removal. Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential. Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly desirable. Ability to identify various plants, trees, and shrubs; familiarity with horticulture principles is a plus. Knowledge of pesticide management practices and safety procedures related to landscape maintenance. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments. Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery such as lawn mowers, trimmers, excavators, and snow plows with confidence.
