In this role, you will work independently when needed, lead your crew, manage daily schedules, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The Crew Leader will also be responsible for safely operating company trucks and equipment, coordinating job sites, and communicating with clients. Your leadership, organization, and ability to work independently will help ensure excellent service and successful completion of each project. Duties Lead and supervise a team of landscapers and groundskeepers in daily operations Work independently and complete landscaping projects with minimal supervision Manage the daily crew schedule and coordinate jobs, start times, and tasks Drive and operate company trucks and trailers safely between job sites Load, transport, and unload landscaping equipment and materials Oversee landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, cleanup, and groundskeeping Manage hardscaping projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features Coordinate irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely Communicate with clients and address questions or concerns professionally Ensure team members follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining company quality standards Requirements Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture, or a related field Leadership or crew management experience preferred Ability to work independently and make decisions on job sites Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a daily schedule Valid driver's license and experience driving trucks/company vehicles Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and vehicles Knowledge of lawn care, plant identification, irrigation, and hardscaping Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Join us as a Crew Leader/Landscaper and take an active role in leading crews, managing schedules, driving company vehicles, and completing high-quality landscaping work.
