Duties Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy Operate a variety of groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems with precision and safety awareness Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures to ensure safety and visual appeal Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting settings to promote optimal plant health Identify plants accurately to ensure proper care and pest management; apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols when necessary Conduct groundskeeping tasks such as snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors or residents Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, trimming, planting, and hardscape upkeep Familiarity with operating power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and grounds maintenance equipment is essential Basic understanding of plant identification, pest management practices, and pesticide application procedures Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality workmanship Experience with snow plowing or winter grounds maintenance is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail combined with the physical stamina necessary for outdoor landscaping tasks Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant environments!
