Prior landscaping experience is necessary. Our company designs and installs innovative, upper-end landscaping projects and work all over the Denver metro area. No mowing or yard maintenance. We are a small company, very passionate and proud of our industry, so providing our team with a wonderful employee experience is one of our core values. Experience and Skills Needed :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the job requirements.
Landscape Laborer Responsibilities:
1.
Manual Labor:
Perform a variety of physical tasks such as digging, planting, weeding, mulching, and raking. 2.
Assistance:
Assist Landscape Foreman or Supervisor with various tasks as directed. 4.
Material Handling:
Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites. 5.
Site Preparation:
Prepare sites for landscaping activities by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and removing obstacles. 6.
Installation:
Assist with the installation of landscape elements such as sod, plants, trees, rock, and irrigation systems. 7.
Maintenance:
Help in maintaining landscapes by watering, fertilizing, and applying pesticides or herbicides under supervision. 8.
Clean-Up:
Ensure job sites are clean and orderly after completion of work. 9.
Safety Compliance:
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure personal safety as well as that of team members. 10.
Learning and Development:
Continuously learn and improve landscaping skills under the guidance of experienced team members. 11.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to understand tasks and provide updates on progress. 12.
Flexibility:
Be willing to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job requirements. 13.
Customer Service:
Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients or homeowners on job sites.
License/Certification :
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
