Responsibilities Perform turf maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, aerating, fertilizing, and overseeding to promote healthy grass growth. Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and landscaping machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct landscape maintenance activities like planting, pruning, weed control, pest management, and soil preparation to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and the use of hand tools for landscaping projects. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and cleaning to ensure longevity and safety during operations. Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, pesticide management, and general groundskeeping practices to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. Experience Prior experience in golf course groundskeeping or athletic field maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting is a plus. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including gardening practices and lawn care is beneficial. Ability to operate company vehicles safely along with grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools and heavy machinery. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to power tool use, heavy lifting, and equipment maintenance. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with a proactive approach to groundskeeping challenges.

Special Requirements:

Individual should be dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Must be able to perform labor intensive tasks and have the ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. The ability to follow directions is a MUST. Applicant must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation. Work starts as early as 6:00 AM and will be expected to work alternating weekends and holidays.
