Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Truck & Mower Maintenance / Landscape Field Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks, mowers, and landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver exceptional groundskeeping, landscaping, and lawn care services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your mechanical skills, and contribute to beautiful, well-maintained landscapes across various properties. Duties Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, mowers, power tools, and landscaping equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools and power tools; replace or repair parts as needed. Maintain irrigation systems, including troubleshooting leaks and ensuring proper operation of sprinkler systems. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and hardscape installation. Identify plants, trees, and pests to support horticultural health; apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols when necessary. Operate groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety procedures and regulations. Support seasonal landscaping projects including planting, mulching, and installing irrigation systems to enhance property aesthetics. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience repairing lawn equipment, trucks, or similar machinery. Hands-on outdoor work experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping environments. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment operation. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, pest management, and irrigation systems. Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while working with power tools and heavy equipment. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required.
