Landscaper groundskeeper Responsibilities Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces pristine. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, aerating, fertilizing, and other landscaping activities. Maintain gardens by planting new greenery, mulching beds, removing weeds, and caring for existing plants. Assist with the installation of new landscaping features such as flower beds, pathways, or decorative elements. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment. Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners. Familiarity with lawn care equipment, hand tools, and power tools is highly desirable. Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and troubleshooting issues promptly. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.
