GROUNDSKEEPER/CUSTODIAN

This is a family owned, family operated Automotive Dealership Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper/Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and ensuring the overall health of our grounds. This role involves a variety of tasks related to irrigation, landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening. The Groundskeeper will work with both hand tools and power tools to create and maintain aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. This position also entails custodial work, such as cleaning bathrooms, emptying waste cans, scrubbing floors, vacuuming, etc. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance on lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas to ensure their health and appearance. Assisting in custodial work as needed on a daily or weekly basis. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding. Conduct routine inspections of grounds and building to identify areas needing attention or repair. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and decorative elements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in landscaping activities and building areas. Qualifications Background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, or horticulture. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor. Must be able to climb ladders. Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality work. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques related to groundskeeping.
