Yard Crew Member 140 Huntingtown Road, Newtown, CT 06470 $16.94 - $18.00 an hour - Part-time $16.94 - $18.00 an hour - Part-time Yard Crew Member We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our team for the growing season. This is a full-time, entry-level position working outdoors in a nursery environment, assisting with plant care and general yard operations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Offloading and tagging trucks of plants and trees (forklift use required) Assisting customers and pulling plant orders Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the yard Supporting general nursery operations as needed

Requirements:

Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn (plant knowledge is a plus, but not required) Preferred (but not required): Landscape or nursery experience Forklift experience We hire for attitude and reliability first—we're happy to train the right person.

Position Details:
