Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Execute landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting new greenery, and mulching beds. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects. Use machinery like excavators and snow plows to assist with construction projects or seasonal clean-up. Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and perform necessary maintenance tasks. Experience Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or related outdoor maintenance roles. Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, excavators, and power tools. Familiarity with horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and soil management. Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, and seasonal snow plowing.
