$20-$30 per hour (commensurate with experience), plus benefits Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Greenskeeper to join our team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of playability and aesthetics. The ideal candidate takes pride in turf management and understands that the condition of the greens, fairways, and overall course directly impacts the golfer experience. This is a hands-on, outdoor role that requires early morning starts and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance of putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers, including mowing, rolling, aerating, topdressing, and verticutting. Assist with bunker raking, sand replacement, and edge maintenance. Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning; report any mechanical issues promptly. Assist with special projects such as course renovations, tree care, landscaping, and snow removal (seasonal). Work collaboratively with the grounds crew to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Uphold all safety protocols and environmental best practices. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or turf management preferred. Working knowledge of turfgrass varieties, golf course agronomics, and common turf diseases/pests is a plus. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to operate and maintain a variety of grounds equipment (mowers, tractors, aerifiers, etc.). Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain). Early morning availability (frequent starts before sunrise during peak season). High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in turf management, horticulture, or related field is advantageous. Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
