This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our nursery grounds, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience with various maintenance tasks, including groundskeeping. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. Responsibilities Maintain nursery grounds by performing regular inspections and upkeep of plants, trees, and landscaping features. Mowing and weed eating Utilize power tools and hand tools for various maintenance tasks, including digging, potting up, moving of plants. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely. Familiarity with irrigation systems is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to quality work and attention to detail is essential.
