•Description•Groundskeeper Traffic Control Devices (TCD) is actively hiring dedicated employees who are hardworking and seeking a long-term career opportunity. The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, appearance, and operational readiness of the officeyard and equipment storage areas. This position supports daily operations by ensuring materials and equipment are properly organized, assisting with equipment distribution and returns, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining grounds and landscaping, and helping create a safe, efficient working environment for employees.

Competitive, Hourly Benefits + Company-sponsored Retirement Plan + Health Insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision) + Employee Assistance Program + Life, Long-term/Short-term Disability Insurance + Vacation Time + Paid Holidays Essential Functions & Responsibilities + Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the company yard and facility grounds. + Check equipment in and out for work-related purposes and maintainaccurate equipment accountability. + Assist with loading trucks, trailers, and company vehicles in preparation for daily operations. + Unload, organize, and properly store returned equipment, tools, and materials. + Conduct routine inspections of the yard and equipment storage areas to identify housekeeping or safety concerns. + Pick up and dispose of trash, debris, and unwanted materials throughout the property. + Cut grass, trim vegetation, and perform general ground maintenance. + Assist with inventory organization and material staging as directed. + Keep walkways, storage areas, and loading zones clear and free from hazards. + Report damaged equipment, facility issues, or safety concerns to management. + Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. + Assist with general yard, warehouse, and facility-related duties as assigned. + Perform other related duties, as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely. + Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail. + Ability to organize materials and maintain a clean work environment. + Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. + Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethics. Education & Experience + Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, warehouse operations, yard organization, or general labor is preferred but not required. + Experience operating lawn maintenance equipment, such as mowers, string trimmers, or blowers, is preferred. Pre-Screen + Upon offer, employees may be required to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and/or MVR check. License & Certifications + A valid driver's license is preferred. Safety Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.
Physical Requirements:
+ RARE (less than 10%): climbing poles + OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs. + FREQUENT (up to 66%): stooping, squatting, body-twisting, manual dexterity, climbing on/off a truck, gripping, reading. + CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): standing, walking, sense of touch, speaking clearly, seeing distant, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., seeing, reaching, range of motion, hearing-speech range, depth perception, color vision, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, lifting up to 10 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs.
