Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping tasks to ensure parks, commercial properties, or residential landscapes are vibrant, healthy, and well-manicured. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, plant care, and equipment operation to deliver exceptional results. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on experience in horticulture, grounds management, and outdoor project execution while contributing to community beautification. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep landscapes thriving and visually appealing Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health management Perform irrigation system installation, repair, and adjustments to optimize water efficiency and plant health Conduct grounds inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs and report issues promptly Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or tree trimming to maintain safety and aesthetics during different weather conditions Experience Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and landscape design basics is a plus Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment operation such as power tools, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping machinery is advantageous Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools and chemicals Strong physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues Enthusiasm for gardening, tree care, lawn care, hardscape projects, and grounds maintenance activities Join us to cultivate beautiful landscapes while advancing your skills in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
