Job Description
Overview TEK Enterprises is seeking a dependable, hardworking Landscape Technician to join our growing team. We provide commercial landscape maintenance throughout the Tampa Bay area and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, shows up on time, and enjoys working outdoors. Whether you have experience or are willing to learn, we'll provide training for the right person with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Mow, edge, weed eat and blow commercial & residential properties to ensure healthy and attractive grounds Trim shrubs and maintain landscape beds Weed landscape areas and apply mulch as needed Pick up litter and remove storm debris Assist with seasonal cleanups and landscape enhancement projects Safely operate commercial landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers and backpack blowers Load and unload equipment and keep trucks and trailers clean and organized Assist with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning and removal with attention to safety protocols Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety guidelines to promote plant health while minimizing environmental impact Follow safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance while on comercial and residential properties Experience Landscaping experience is preferred but not required Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment operation including lawnmowers, trimmers, excavators, and snow plows Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and weather conditions Able to lift 50 pounds or more Strong work ethic and positive attitude Dependable attendance is required Valid driver's license is a plus but not required At TEK Enterprises, we believe great employees are our greatest investment.
