Job Type:

Full-time Dombrowski Property Maintenance is hiring a dependable, hard-working Drainage, Irrigation & Landscape Laborer to join our project crew. This is a hands-on outdoor position primarily involving drainage installation, irrigation work, landscape installation, grading, tree work, and general outdoor construction labor . We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with a shovel, using power tools, and performing physically demanding work throughout the day. Basic knowledge of irrigation, PVC pipe and fittings, landscaping, and plants is preferred. We are looking for someone with basic knowledge, mechanical ability, a willingness to learn, and most importantly, someone who shows up on time and works hard every day . Responsibilities Excavating and trenching by hand Installing underground drainage pipe and fittings Installing catch basins, channel drains, downspout connections, and drainage components Backfilling and compacting trenches Assisting with grading, swales, and drainage corrections Installing and repairing irrigation pipe Cutting, gluing, and assembling PVC pipe and fittings Replacing sprinkler heads, nozzles, valves, and other irrigation components Assisting with irrigation troubleshooting and repairs Installing plants, sod, mulch, decorative rock, edging, and other landscape materials Removing existing plants, landscaping, roots, and vegetation Assisting with landscape renovations and installations Assisting with pavers, retaining walls, and other hardscape projects Assisting with tree trimming, tree removal, hauling brush, chipping, cleanup, and other tree-related work Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment Keeping trucks, trailers, equipment, and job sites clean and organized Operating basic power equipment and hand tools Assisting with other property improvement projects as needed Occasional Lawn Maintenance Work This position is not primarily a lawn maintenance position . Approximately 5-10% of the year , depending on workload, weather, staffing, or scheduling needs, this employee may be asked to assist our lawn maintenance division.

Weed eating Edging Blowing Hedge trimming Mowing General landscape maintenance and property cleanup Employees must be willing to assist other crews when needed. What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Shows up every scheduled day on time and ready to work Willing to work hard and maintain a steady pace throughout the day Comfortable digging and using a shovel for extended periods Basic mechanical ability and common sense Basic understanding of PVC pipe, fittings, and pipe sizes preferred Familiarity with sprinkler heads and basic irrigation components preferred Basic plant and landscape knowledge preferred Comfortable using landscape and construction tools Able to take direction and complete assigned work Willing to perform different types of work depending on the project Takes care of company tools and equipment Works well as part of a crew Experience That Is Helpful Previous experience in any of the following is a plus: Drainage installation Irrigation installation or repair PVC plumbing Landscaping Grading and excavation Hardscaping or pavers Retaining walls Tree work Construction labor Lawn maintenance Mini excavator or skid-steer operation Drivers Licenses not required for this position. Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Work outdoors in Florida heat and weather Dig, shovel, rake, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Lift and carry pipe, tools, plants, bags, and construction materials Work in trenches and on uneven terrain Bend, kneel, lift, climb, and perform repetitive physical work Safely work around landscaping, tree, and construction equipment Schedule Full-time Primarily Monday-Thursday Early morning start times Fridays may be required depending on weather, project schedules, and workload Overtime may be available Pay & Benefits Starting pay is based on demonstrated field experience and ability. Higher rates within the advertised range are earned based on verified skills, reliability, work quality, and productivity. $17.00
