Responsibilities Operate small equipment such as compact tractors, forklift, lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems to maintain nursery grounds, unload deliveries, and load bulk customer orders Assist in planting, transplanting, pruning, and trimming garden beds, lawns, and greenhouse crops Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for various plants and crops Offer customers except service in all aspects of your roles at the nursery. Support greenhouse cultivation activities including plant propagation, environmental control adjustments, and crop harvesting Identify different plant species and pests to implement integrated pest management strategies effectively Conduct outdoor work including land clearing, soil preparation, garden trimming, and landscape maintenance Skills Knowledge of irrigation management and agricultural environmental control systems is encouraged Knowledge of horticulture practices such as crop production, greenhouse cultivation, and gardening techniques Ability to operate all equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
