Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Drive and operate the truck with trailer attached. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows safely and efficiently. Perform lawn care duties like aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like patios or walkways. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments to maintain safety and appearance. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or gardening to keep properties pristine year-round. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools. Drivers License Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with excavators or other construction machinery is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and hardscape installation is advantageous. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and construction.
