Job description: Seven Lakes Golf & Tennis Community is an active, gated 55+ residential community located in Fort Myers, FL featuring an 18-hole executive golf course and a comprehensive Maintenance Department that ensures top-tier service and upkeep. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, service-minded professionals to join our team and contribute to the outstanding experience our residents enjoy every day. This full-time position of the Golf Course Groundskeeper reports to the Director of Golf Course Maintenance.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough on golf course. Set cups, tee place markers, maintain ball washer, and remove trash from golf course. Rake and maintain sand traps. Edge cart paths, edge yardage markers, string trim lake banks, flymo, blow and pick up debris. Trim, prune, and shape trees and shrubs on the golf course as instructed. Maintain ornamental plant beds on golf course to include weeding, mulching. Assist in special projects and repairs as necessary. Other related duties as required or requested.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

One-year prior golf or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

PHYSICAL / EMOTIONAL DEMANDS

Year-round outdoor labor. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of shoveling, raking, bending, stooping. Must safely and efficiently operate large mowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, etc.
