In this role, you'll be an essential part of delivering high-quality landscaping services, operating groundskeeping equipment, and supporting landscape maintenance projects. Whether you're driving to job sites or performing hands-on labor, your work will directly contribute to transforming outdoor environments into vibrant, inviting landscapes. Responsibilities Safely operate landscaping and groundskeeping equipment including mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools to perform various landscape tasks. Assist with landscape installation projects such as planting, tree trimming, gardening, and hardscape construction. Conduct routine landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and pest management to ensure healthy plant growth and aesthetic appeal. Support groundskeeping activities like snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe. Transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Follow safety procedures diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Identify plants, trees, and pests accurately; assist with irrigation system installation and repairs for optimal water management. Requirements Previous outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools is highly desirable. Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently; familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment is a plus. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, pesticide management, and tree care techniques. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation. Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and performing manual labor in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous.
