Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate heavy equipment (Dump truck).
- Drive to the landfill to dump debris 2 to 3 times a day.
- Performs routine maintenance of tools and equipment used.
- Clean and pressure wash play areas.
- Periodically set up tables and chairs for community meetings.
- Operate blowers, hedgers, weed eaters, pole saws and chainsaws.
- Prunes and trims plants, shrubbery, and trees.
- Plants and maintains trees, shrubbery, and plants.
- Empty trashcans, recyclables, and transfer to disposal areas.
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying, throwing and digging.
- Remove household goods from around dumpsters, streets, curbs, etc…
- Sweep and blow the surrounding areas as necessary for removal of debris.
- Remove and haul household goods, trash and debris from vacant units.
- Remove and dispose of animal carcasses.
- Responsible to assist as necessary in the performance of related maintenance tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, the Deputy Executive Director, or the Executive Director and his or her designees.
