Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaping Assistant and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscape maintenance, and contribute to transforming landscapes into vibrant, functional environments. Whether you're assisting with lawn care, planting, or hardscape projects, your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver exceptional results for our clients. No prior experience is necessary—just a passion for outdoor work and a willingness to learn! Responsibilities Assist with lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns. Support landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance landscape aesthetics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks, including trimming bushes and installing garden features. Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of plants and lawns. Contribute to snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible. Support the setup and repair of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance on job sites. Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools is advantageous. Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, or horticulture principles is beneficial. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus but not mandatory. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential.
