Duties Provide expert advice on plant selection, landscape maintenance, and sustainable gardening techniques to clients and team members Assist with planting, pruning, soil preparation, and ongoing groundskeeping activities using hand tools and power tools Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for diverse plantings, including native plants and landscaped areas Identify plants, pests, and diseases accurately to implement effective plant pest control strategies Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently for lawn care and general groundskeeping tasks Support pesticide management efforts by applying treatments responsibly in accordance with safety guidelines Conduct climbing or ground-based inspections of trees and shrubs to assess health and safety conditions Requirements Demonstrated experience with greenhouse operations, growing plants, or related horticultural activities Proficiency in landscape maintenance, including lawn care and farming practices Hands-on experience with plant identification, native plant conservation, and gardening techniques Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and plant pest control methods Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and climbing gear safely Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members effectively Familiarity with horticulture principles, agriculture practices, and grounds maintenance standards Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while handling tools and equipment Join us in creating lush landscapes that inspire community pride!
