Job Summary Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Lawn Care Worker, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties are pristine and inviting. Your expertise in lawn care, plant health, and outdoor equipment operation will help create vibrant landscapes that stand out. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing hardscape features Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and health of plants and turf Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plant health and prevent pest issues Conduct groundskeeping activities including snow plowing during winter months and general cleanup of outdoor spaces Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are applied Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and safe operation in accordance with safety standards Skills Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining landscaping equipment and power tools Extensive outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance, landscaping, and gardening tasks Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and soil management Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, repair, and management for optimal landscape health Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols Familiarity with tree care techniques such as trimming, pruning, and disease prevention Experience with hardscape installation including pathways or retaining walls is a plus Join us in creating stunning outdoor environments!
