Overview Join our vibrant team as a Luxury Apartment Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining stunning, meticulously landscaped outdoor spaces that elevate the living experience for residents. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your landscaping expertise and mechanical skills to create beautiful, safe, and welcoming environments. Your dedication will ensure that every corner of our grounds reflects excellence, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance may include picking up trash, cleaning up breezeways, stairways, parking lots, trash areas, mail room, pool area, dog parks, weeding, trimming, pruning, planting, and watering to keep grounds vibrant and inviting Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, power wash and hardscape tools with precision and safety Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments using appropriate tools and techniques Maintain outdoor areas by installing or repairing hardscape features like pathways, patios, or retaining walls Apply horticultural knowledge to identify plants, diagnose issues, and manage pests using pesticide management best practices in accordance with safety protocols Assist with snow plowing and outdoor winter maintenance to ensure safe access during adverse weather conditions Follow all safety protocols diligently while operating equipment and handling chemicals or pesticides Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping roles Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery Strong landscape maintenance skills including mowing, gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation or repair Ability to identify plants accurately and manage pest control responsibly using pesticides when necessary Knowledge of irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting is highly desirable Familiarity with safety procedures related to equipment operation and chemical handling Physical stamina to perform manual outdoor tasks such as lifting, bending, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods Valid experience with winter outdoor maintenance is a plus Join us in creating exceptional outdoor environments that enhance community living!
