Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, trimming trees, and shrubbery care. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Use hand tools and machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to assist with gardening and landscaping projects. Conduct groundskeeping duties such as snow plowing during winter months or hardscape maintenance when necessary. Follow all safety procedures diligently while performing outdoor work in diverse weather conditions. Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining groundskeeping and landscaping equipment effectively. Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management for safe application. Ability to manage irrigation systems and troubleshoot related issues efficiently. Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape upkeep. Understanding of safety protocols related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments.
