Job Description
Greenskeeper The Country Club of Naples Naples, Florida Position Summary The Country Club of Naples is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Greenskeeper to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily care, preparation, and maintenance of the golf course and surrounding grounds to ensure an excellent experience for our members and guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Greenskeepr will assist with a variety of daily golf course maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Perform daily golf course setup, including changing cups, moving tee markers, emptying trash cans, filling divot buckets, moving hazard markers, cleaning comfort stations, and completing other detail work throughout the golf course.
- Operate golf course maintenance equipment, including tee mowers, fairway mowers, rough mowers, utility vehicles, and other related equipment.
- Operate tractor-drawn equipment, which may include pull-behind mowers, topdressers, topdress trailers, front-end loaders, sprayers, bush hog mowers, and other course maintenance machinery.
- Operate two-cycle and handheld equipment, including string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and similar tools.
- Assist with applying granular fertilizers, wetting agents, pesticides, and other turf care products under proper supervision and in accordance with safety procedures.
- Assist with bunker maintenance, divot repair, debris removal, irrigation support, landscaping, edging, trimming, and other general maintenance duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including proper care and cleaning of tools, equipment, and maintenance areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to complete tasks efficiently and to the standards expected at The Country Club of Naples.
- Help ensure the safety of yourself, fellow employees, members, guests, and anyone on club property. Qualifications
- At least 1 year of golf course maintenance experience is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate golf course maintenance equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work for extended periods while walking, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, or performing repetitive tasks.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation.
