Landscape Projects Technician - Sod, Trees, Shrubs & Installations We are looking for an experienced and dependable Landscape Projects Technician to join our team full-time. This position is focused primarily on landscape projects, installations, trimming, sod work, and property improvements rather than routine lawn maintenance. We need someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and understands the importance of leaving every property looking clean, professional, and properly finished.
Responsibilities Typical projects may include:
Sod removal, ground preparation, grading, and installation Tree and palm trimming Hedge and shrub trimming, shaping, and reduction Landscape tear-outs and property cleanups Plant and shrub installation Mulch, decorative rock, and landscape bed installation Small landscape renovations and improvements Loading and unloading plants, sod, materials, equipment, and debris Job-site preparation and cleanup Safely operating landscaping tools and equipment Other landscape improvement projects as assigned What We're Looking For Previous landscaping or landscape installation experience strongly preferred Experience properly preparing and installing sod Ability to trim hedges and shrubs cleanly, evenly, and professionally Strong attention to detail and quality of finished work Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work in Florida weather Able to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Able to follow instructions and complete assigned projects efficiently Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew Takes responsibility for the appearance and quality of completed work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred This Is NOT Primarily a Lawn-Mowing Position The majority of this position involves sod, landscape installations, trees, palms, shrubs, trimming, cleanups, and property improvement projects . While occasional lawn-related work may be necessary, we are specifically looking for someone with experience completing landscape projects who understands that the details and final appearance of the job matter . Job Type Full-time Schedule Full-time position. Work assignments vary based on scheduled landscape projects and company needs. Experience Landscaping, landscape installation, sod installation, trimming, or similar outdoor construction/property improvement experience preferred.
