This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to enhance landscapes, gardens, and grounds. You'll be responsible for assisting with landscape maintenance, planting, trimming, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. If you love working in outdoor environments and enjoy hands-on work that upgrades spaces, this role is perfect for you! All positions are paid, offering valuable experience in groundskeeping and landscaping. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper horticultural care and landscape design Support tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Maintain hardscape features such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls by performing cleaning and minor repairs Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to ensure a secure working environment Help with seasonal tasks including snow plowing in winter months to keep pathways accessible Qualifications Previous outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions ( you're comfortable working outside in Florida weather year-round) Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors Pay will depend on your previous experience.
