Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Foreman / Driver to lead and oversee landscaping projects and maintenance operations. This role involves supervising a team, operating landscaping equipment, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture, along with leadership skills to manage crew members effectively. A valid driver's license is required to transport equipment and team members to various job sites. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including gardening, irrigation, tree care, and construction-related tasks. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscaping and maintenance workers to ensure efficient project completion Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and horticulture activities Coordinate project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress on-site Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintain a safe work environment Assist with construction-related landscaping projects when needed Manage the transportation of tools, equipment, and team members to various job locations Provide guidance on landscape design and plant health care practices Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, or horticulture Supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or construction setting preferred Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, and general maintenance procedures Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for transporting crew and equipment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including lifting heavy equipment or materials as needed Strong communication skills for supervising staff and coordinating with clients or project managers This role is vital for maintaining the quality standards of our landscaping services while leading a dedicated team of professionals.
