Overview Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as a Lawn Crew Member and play a vital role in creating beautiful, well-maintained landscapes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping skills to enhance residential, commercial, or public spaces. As a key contributor to our grounds maintenance operations, you will gain hands-on experience with lawn care, tree trimming, irrigation systems, and landscape installation while adhering to safety protocols. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor work and dedicated to delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers and hoses for optimal watering schedules. Conduct groundskeeping activities such as weed control, pest management (including pesticide application), and soil preparation. Assist with tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and landscape beauty. Maintain hardscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls by cleaning and minor repairs. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred. Familiarity with plant identification Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and irrigation systems confidently. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the day. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and hardscape installation. Must have reliable transportation to and form work.
