ELS is hiring for the position of Silver Dollar P/T Outdoor Operations Technician in Odessa, Florida. A P/T Outdoor Operations Technician maintains property grounds, ensures visitor safety, and monitors compliance with facility rules. This role is a year-round position that combines physical labor, property maintenance, and public-facing security or customer service. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the maintenance and beatification of our resort grounds. Which could include but not be limited to trimming hedges, edging, weed eating, planting, and manual weeding. Operating and maintaining hand tools, and power tools, or equipment like golf carts and trailers. Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, debris, leaves, and other dead plant materials. Responsible for cleaning restrooms and emptying trash receptacles in the common areas. Inspect common areas, grounds, and amenity buildings for safety hazards. Perform minor repairs. Patrol grounds. Enforce rules, parking regulations, and safety policies. Greet visitors and provide directions or information about sites and amenities. Resolve conflicts or complaints calmly and professionally. Capable of working independently and as part of a team Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent general education degree. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Physical Requirements Frequent exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity. Requires sitting, standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and bending. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Work Schedule Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines. Availability of working on weekends and/or holidays as required.
