In this energetic role, you'll lead a crew of skilled landscapers and our lawn maintenance team, oversee a variety of projects, and ensure high-quality maintenance and installation work. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, promote safety, and deliver exceptional results that delight clients and elevate outdoor aesthetics. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscapers on diverse projects including lawn care, gardening, planting, pruning, and landscape installation. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and irrigation system management. Oversee construction activities related to landscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features. Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of horticulture practices and safety protocols. Provide training and mentorship to crew members in landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with clients to understand project needs and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant health and garden design. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments. Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, gardening techniques, and general maintenance practices. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small construction tools. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
