Competitive, based on experience About the Position We are looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Member/Sod Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing sod, preparing job sites, and delivering high-quality work efficiently. This position requires someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well with a team, and can help ensure every project meets our company standards. Responsibilities Install all varieties of sod with proper installation techniques. Remove existing sod, weeds, and landscape materials. Prepare and grade soil for sod installation. Spread topsoil and other materials as needed. Operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely. Load and unload sod, materials, and equipment. Perform final cleanup and ensure each property is left neat and professional. Identify and correct installation issues before leaving the job site. Communicate effectively with crew members and customers when needed. Follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience installing sod is preferred Landscape experience is required. Experience with grading, soil preparation, and irrigation systems is a plus. Able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a crew. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
