Job Description

Internal Position Title:
Entry Utility Pay Rate :
$23.72 per hour + shift differential if applicable
NOTE:
Role is hired as Temporary Employee via staffing service during 90 day probationary period, earns $17.00/hour.
Category/Shift :
2nd/3rd Shift The plant operates 24/5 with 8-12 hour shifts. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; overtime may be needed during busy periods.

The Job You Will Perform:
Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times; Count and stack finished product; Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications; Utilize basic shop math; Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment; Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders; Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company; Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production; Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift; Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings; and Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
The Skills You Will Bring:
3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience Corrugated industry experience preferred Sit down Forklift/pull pack experience preferred The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler The ability to use basic shop math The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
