Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscape projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, bringing your enthusiasm and dedication to every task. Whether you're helping with irrigation systems or operating power tools, your efforts will directly contribute to transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, welcoming landscapes. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, gardening, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators for site preparation, planting, and hardscape installation. Perform lawn care duties like edging, aerating, fertilizing, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons. Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and beauty. Maintain landscape features by installing or repairing irrigation systems, hardscapes (such as patios or walkways), and other structural elements. Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for hazards or maintenance needs and report issues promptly. Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment. Experience with lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and larger machinery such as excavators safely and effectively. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems is a plus. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Prior experience in construction or landscaping projects is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills like snow plowing or hardscape installation.
