Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Crew Member Martin Downs Golf Club Palm City, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15 - $16 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Restoration Driver's License Full Job Description We are looking for reliable, hardworking team members to join our grounds maintenance crew and help restore and maintain the course to a high standard. Position Overview Full-time or part-time positions available for Grounds Maintenance Crew Members. You will work outdoors as part of the golf course maintenance team performing daily upkeep of the golf course, practice areas, and surrounding grounds. Key Responsibilities Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough Rake and maintain bunkers Operate and maintain golf course equipment (mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, etc.) Perform irrigation system checks, repairs, and hand-watering as needed Assist with fertilizer, pesticide, and chemical applications (training provided) Edge, trim, and maintain landscaping around the course and clubhouse Remove debris, change cups/pins, and prepare the course for daily play Help with special projects related to ongoing course renovations and improvements Follow all safety protocols and equipment operating procedures Other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent Requirements Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, cold) Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stoop, walk long distances, and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and ability to start early mornings (typical start times 5:00-6:30 a.m.) Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed (golf course operations are 7 days a week) Valid driver's license preferred Previous golf course, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred but not required — we will train the right candidates Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well as part of a team
