Responsibilities Mow lawns and trim grass using mowers and other power tools to ensure neat, even surfaces. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning to promote healthy growth. Operate hand tools and machinery including trimmers, blowers, excavators, and hedge cutters safely and efficiently. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health to maintain safety and aesthetics. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and maintaining existing structures. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects that include gardening, planting beds, or landscape design enhancements. Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, gardening equipment, and construction machinery is a plus. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting is beneficial. Ability to operate heavy machinery like excavators or snow plows is an advantage but not required for entry-level applicants. Strong knowledge of plant care techniques including tree trimming and irrigation system management enhances your effectiveness in the role. Hands-on experience with hardscape installation or construction projects will support your success in this position.
