Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Member to join our team immediately in. As a key member of our groundskeeping crew, you'll perform a variety of landscaping and lawn care tasks with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring high standards of safety and quality are met every day. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in outdoor environments, possesses strong mechanical skills, and is eager to deliver exceptional grounds maintenance services. Duties Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems to keep landscapes pristine. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and planting bed upkeep. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols. Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls to enhance landscape aesthetics. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems for proper function; troubleshoot and repair as needed. Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing irrigation systems when required. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with knowledge of lawn care techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and power tools. Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management. Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Knowledge of safety protocols related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments. Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely and efficiently.
