Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape and Water Feature Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of water features. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape construction, pond maintenance, water feature construction, and hardscaping projects. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with experienced team members to ensure high-quality results in all landscaping projects. Responsibilities Perform Pond maintenance tasks including deluxe cleanouts and monthly maintenance. Assist in planting, digging, and transplanting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment. Participate in hardscape projects such as building patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients when necessary. Operate and drive trucks and trailers to safely transport materials, equipment, or goods to designated locations. Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping work. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for maintaining equipment used on-site. Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. A willingness to learn new skills related to landscape construction, water feature construction, and hardscape installation.
