Description This position will take care of the pollinator gardens for New College of Florida. Examples of Duties Create and maintain pollinator gardens on campus (perennial pollinator beds and other pollinator infrastructure (pollinator hotel, puddling area, etc. in the Z-dorm garden) Maintenance responsibilities consist mainly of watering, pruning, weeding, and replanting (if plant dies) Teach Pollinator Ecology and Conservation Coordinate with other garden coordinators to maintain the weekly garden volunteer day Attend weekly CGA meetings Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Student of New College of Florida and must be able to work outside and work well with others who visit the gardens All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
