Maintenance Foreman Job Description:
Being a foreman with Everything Outdoors is a unique position in the landscape industry. We pride ourselves on the ability to complete all of our clients outdoor needs. As a foreman you will be in charge of the completion of your route, managing your crew, and using various skills needed to complete successful care.
Job Duties:
Reports for duty at the designated location 15 minutes before crew start time In this time, you will be informed on your day and begin getting organized to lead your crew Ensures that all safety rules and company policies are adhered to Monitor the crews lunch/break schedules to ensure all time is used efficiently Ensure that all your work is completed, and your job site is left in a clean and organized condition Trains crew members in the best practices of installation in company standards Identify jobsite hazards ie. Verizon cables, underground lines, dogs, etc. Lead crew in completion of daily and weekly side work Ensure that time sheets are filled out and returned to the bin at the end of each week Note any tools or equipment that may have been damaged Note any changes that you see that could improve operational efficiency Lead by example Clean and professional appearance Communicates well with all crew members, supervisor, and clientele
Preferred Skills:
Landscape Leadership Irrigation Property Management Communication Plant and horticulture knowledge How does a foreman move to the next level? In order for a foreman to move to the next level they must first show exemplary skills, knowledge, efficiency, and responsibility in their current role. Positions available would include project superintendent, sales and operations, general manager, etc. These rolls will require a higher level of organization and people skills than the maintenance foreman.

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
